Community Brain Injury Rehabilitation
Developing a treatment plan for cognitive, communication and emotional challenges.
Objectives of the workshop:
Participants will develop a practical understanding of cognitive, communication and emotional issues faced by clients following an acquired brain injury andidentify resources to use in their therapy.Participants will develop an understanding of how to set collaborative goals based on a shared understanding of challenges faced by clients and families.Participants will develop an understanding of issues surrounding work with families of those with acquired brain injury and resources to use in working inthis area.
Participants will learn how to use resources contained within the workbook as an aid to therapy with community based patients.
