24th International Training Institute in Neurologic Music Therapy

May 7th-9th 2009 3 Day Workshop
The Institute of Neuropalliative Rehabilitation will be running a 3 day workshop in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) in May 2009 at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney

NMT Training is the only training of its kind in the world and training has not been held in Europe previously.
The workshop is aimed at clinicians working in health and education with children and adults with disabilities stemming from neurological disease or trauma. It will cover advanced clinical training in using NMT to address communication, cognitive, sensory and physical functioning.
Professionals who will benefit from this training include Music Therapists and other clinicians working in health care and rehabilitation, including Registered nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Medics, Speech and Language Therapists and therapy assistants across disciplines who have experience working in neuro-rehabilitation.
